SVUNA Youth Program: Microfinance to China villagers

SVUNA Youth presents Claire Lu, a junior at Monta Vista High School, who talks about her summer spent offering micro-finance loans to Hui villagers in China. The Hui are a Muslim ethnic minority there.  Claire is is a SVUNA Youth leader, a Model UN officer at her school, and a student ambassador with the San Francisco World Affairs Council. 

Second half of program is a discussion of youth activities and plans,led by Tony Pan.

Event takes place Saturday, September 28, 2013, 2:30-4:30 pm at Raynor Park Christian Church, 1515 Partridge Ave. (at Dunford Way), Sunnyvale CA. Program is open and free to the public.
